The Thompson Elk Fountain is a historic fountain and bronze sculpture by American artist Roland Hinton Perry. The fountain with its statue was donated to the city of Portland, Oregon, in 1900 by Doctor David Thompson, for display in Downtown Portland’s Plaza Blocks. The fountain and sculpture, damaged by riots in 2020, were restored in 2026. This image is an original print by Lyn Nance-Sasser and Stephen Sasser.

Lyn Nance-Sasser and Stephen Sasser founded their studio in 1981, with a primary focus on printmaking. They specialized in the silkscreen
medium, and from their studio in Portland, the works have been showcased internationally, earning them numerous accolades and awards. Recently they have expanded their creative endeavors to include original art jigsaw puzzles.
